The Dolphin in in the White strand most of the time but from time to time she followes the fishing boats that fish along the coast so if you hope to see her it could take you a couple of hours.

This young female dolphin first interacted with people in Doolin, Co. Clare in the summer of 2000.

By spring 2001 she had moved up the coast to Derreen near Fanore, Co. Clare, where she was resident for nearly four years.

There were no sightings of the Dolphin we call my friend  from mid-December 2004 to mid-February 2005, when she reappeared in the Green Island area of Co. Clare,. Since March 2005 she has been seen and swum with most often at Spanish Point, but also visits several less accessible locations in the same area.

my friend is an extremely patient, playful and interactive dolphin who is known for sharing herself around all the people who some to swim, dive, surf and kayak with her.

We at the Atlantic Diving School like to offer sum advice to anyone that wants to get in the water with the dolphin and to anyone that dives with us, do not crowd around her make sure that her way is clear to swimm away from you, try not to keep swimming after her it only makes her swimm off rub her along her side not around the head or air hole do not poke her in the eye or try to hold on to her or any of her fins, remember she is wild and a lot bigger than her. i have been diving with her from when she first came to doolin a long time ago and never had any incident with her hope you take sum if not all my advice christopher healy
